Are you ready to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of data operations? As our Data Operations Intern, you’ll work alongside our Project Managers and Technology Enablement team to prepare, analyze, and cleanse data for retail production. From standardizing processes and creating documentation to transforming raw data into actionable insights, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our operational success.
This is your opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where data integrity and efficiency are key. You'll contribute to meaningful projects while sharpening your technical skills and building a foundation for a future in data analytics.
Shift available: Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (This internship requires onsite presence at our Chanhassen, Minnesota location. Relocation assistance, housing, and transportation are not provided. Candidates must reside in or be able to commute locally to the Chanhassen area for the duration of the internship.)
Compensation: $20.00 Hourly
A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you:
are pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
have experience or coursework in relational databases and SQL.
are proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with PowerQuery or SmartSheets (a plus!).
possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
are detail-oriented and eager to learn, with a passion for data and process improvement.
On top of that you must:
have strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
adapt quickly to shifting priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.
be proactive in identifying and addressing data-related challenges.
have a knack for creating clear and concise documentation for workflows.
In this position, you will:
Data Preparation and Standardization:
assist with preparing, cleansing, and validating data for production and analytical needs.
standardize processes by following established SOPs to improve efficiency.
Data Processing and Quality Assurance:
merge, manipulate, and format large datasets to meet project requirements.
perform quality checks and cleanse data by eliminating duplicates and incomplete records.
create and modify distribution lists and production-ready files.
Documentation and Communication:
develop and update workflow documentation using flowcharts or swimlane diagrams.
communicate concerns or suggestions promptly to project managers and supervisors.
Miscellaneous Projects:
participate in various tasks and projects to support the data operations team.
