Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for an Analytics Engineer (Data Focus) who combines technical depth, analytical thinking, and strong communication skills. You will collaborate with both business and technology teams to design, develop, and optimize analytics solutions in on-prem and cloud environments — ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and actionable across the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize advanced analytics and reporting solutions across on-premises and cloud-based platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and transform data from multiple sources for automated reporting.
Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards to provide meaningful insights and strategic metrics.
Apply strong data modeling principles — managing joins, relationships, and large datasets effectively.
Use SQL and Python to automate data processing, transformation, and analysis workflows.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
Contribute to building a data-driven culture through visualization, storytelling, and collaboration.

Desired Skill Set:

Power BI: Advanced expertise in building interactive, executive-level dashboards.
Data Automation: Proven experience in data integration and transformation for analytics.
Data Modeling: Strong grasp of joins, relationships, and handling large datasets efficiently.
SQL & Python: Proficiency in SQL; Python required for data transformation and automation.
Azure Databricks: Experience developing data models and workflows in cloud environments.
Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in communicating insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaboration: Track record of success working with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Nice-to-Have:

PySpark: Experience with distributed data processing.
Executive Communication: Ability to distill complex data insights for senior leadership presentations.
