Location: St. Petersburg, FL (Hybrid – Onsite from Day 1) ( Local Only )

Position Overview
Raymond James Financial is seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join our technology team in St. Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building robust, scalable applications using modern Java frameworks and front-end technologies. This role requires local candidates who can work onsite from Day 1.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks.
Develop and integrate RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases for data management and retrieval.
Implement search and data retrieval patterns for optimized performance.
Develop responsive and user-friendly UIs using HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
Utilize Node.js for backend or middleware components as needed.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and work closely with cross-functional teams.
Use Jenkins, Git, and SonarQube in a continuous integration environment.
Contribute to system design discussions, code reviews, and architectural improvements.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of overall software development experience.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and REST/SOAP services.
Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular or React, Node.js.
Experience with database technologies (both SQL and NoSQL).
Familiarity with continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Git, SonarQube).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Financial Services industry experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
