Job Title: Senior FPGA Firmware Engineer

Location: Reading - Hybrid 3 days a week onsite

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6-12 months minimum

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement FPGA firmware for signal processing, logic, and high-speed interfaces.
Build testbenches, verify designs, and test on hardware.
Collaborate on integration, planning, code reviews, and team activities.

What We're Looking For:

Degree in Electrical/Communications Engineering (1st/2:1) – PhD a plus!
Strong in digital logic (RTL), HDL (VHDL preferred), binary arithmetic, and electronics.
Advantage: 5+ years exp, high-speed interfaces (JESD204, Ethernet), DSP, Xilinx tools (Vivado, Vitis), Linux, Git, C, and bench equipment.
