Account Manager

Location: Portsmouth, UK

We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to own growth, retention, and strategic value delivery across a portfolio of existing global clients and partners.

This is a strategic, customer-facing role — managing relationships with Scality, Weka, HPE, and major enterprise customers, while driving growth through both direct and channel-led engagements.

What You’ll Do

Own your portfolio of global enterprise and OEM accounts — driving retention, renewals, expansion, and advocacy.
Lead account strategy: build detailed growth plans, run QBRs, and align joint success metrics with customers and partners.
Drive expansion: identify and execute upsell/cross-sell opportunities across software, subscriptions, and services.
Champion customer success: increase product adoption through tailored onboarding, enablement, and adoption campaigns.
Manage renewals and risk: protect and grow ARR through proactive engagement and data-led insights.
Collaborate cross-functionally: partner with Product, Marketing, and Solution Architects to deliver customer success.
Represent Loadbalancer.org globally: attend key partner and industry events (typically up to 6 trips per year).

What You’ll Bring

5+ years in Account Management, Customer Success, or Enterprise Sales, focused on existing accounts.
Proven success in managing complex enterprise or OEM relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience in renewals, growth planning, and business justification.
Confident communicator — skilled at running QBRs, executive briefings, and strategic reviews.
Analytical mindset with CRM proficiency (Salesforce or equivalent) and solid forecasting discipline.
A natural relationship builder with curiosity, resilience, and strategic insight.
