Blackwaters are looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to join a fast-growing SaaS business, based in Central London.

At £10m ARR, they are entering an exciting new stage of growth and looking for a hands-on Financial Controller to take ownership of the finance function.

You’ll manage and develop a team of two, while building and improving the financial processes and controls needed to support growth. This is a broad and varied role offering exposure across the full finance spectrum, from core reporting through to strategic FP&A and commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee month-end and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Build and improve financial processes, systems, and controls
Own cashflow forecasting and short- to medium-term liquidity management
Deliver commercial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Partner with leadership and department heads to drive financial performance
Support FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling

Experience Needed

Qualified accountant
Strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial acumen
Confident building and improving processes in a scaling environment
Excellent communicator and collaborator across teams

Salary £70k – 80k. Hybrid working.
