Position Details:
Title: Guidewire Integration Developer
Duration: 1 year (potential for extension)
Location: Combination of on-site/remote/hybrid
Start Date: November 24, 2025
Department: Digital and Information Services – Core Insurance Delivery
Candidate can be in any of the provinces where SGI Canada operates(Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, British Columbia and Ontario), and should be available 8 AM to 5 PM SK time.
Requirements:
The Guidewire Integration Developer develops and maintains integrations in InsuranceSuite applications, handling defect fixes and business-prioritized enhancements.
Certification
Guidewire Ace Certification is preferred
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Build and maintain integrations using Guidewire APIs, Gosu, Java, SOAP/REST web services, IG and messaging frameworks.
Implement batch processes, event messaging, and plugin-based integrations with third-party systems.
Configure and extend the Guidewire data model, including PCFs, product models, and underwriting rules.
Solid hands-on experience in Guidewire Integrations and architecture.
Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve integration issues.

Integration: Guidewire APIs, SOAP/REST, Messaging, Plugins
Platforms: Guidewire Cloud, AWS (preferred), IntelliJ
Tools :Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Docker, Jira, Confluence
Testing: Unit Testing, API Test Frameworks
Methodologies: Agile/Scrum, SurePath, CI/CD
