Job Specifications

We’re seeking a Java Backend Engineer who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments and can work across a broad range of technologies. You’ll play a key role in defining solution architecture, developing new features, expanding our platform, and ensuring the scalability and reliability of our modern cloud-based systems.

Our ecosystem includes microservices, APIs, third-party integrations, and cloud infrastructure, and you’ll work closely with Infrastructure, Product, and Design teams to deliver features and improvements every sprint.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers to define technical requirements and realistic project timelines.
Design and develop robust, maintainable, and scalable backend solutions in Java / Spring Boot.
Own your services and features from development through deployment and production monitoring.
Participate in design and code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
Partner with the Infrastructure team to design data models for large-scale, highly available systems.
Work with QA to create comprehensive test plans and ensure smooth release cycles.
Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure system stability and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

6+ years of experience as a backend developer.
Strong hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Experience with cloud migration (AWS or Azure preferred).
Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases (Cassandra, Yugabyte, DB2, Oracle, SQL, etc.).
Strong knowledge of API design and distributed system architecture.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
