Senior React Developer - Fully Remote - £90,000 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and optimisation of React-based applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
Collaborate with Product Owners, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Translate design concepts from Figma or Storybook into functional front-end components.
Contribute to system architecture and mentor junior developers.
Stay current with React trends and front-end best practices, especially in regulated environments.

Requirements:

Proven experience building secure, high-performance React applications.
Background in regulated sectors such as finance or defence.
Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end tools.
Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and component libraries.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a focus on user-centric solutions.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with TypeScript, Redux/Context API, and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation (Docker).
Experience in Agile development and cross-functional teamwork.
