We're working with a consumer business with an international reach, who are among the major players in their industry. They are an established yet growing SME business who are now a household name, boasting numerous high profile marketing campaigns over recent times.

They are now looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a 9 month fixed-term contract, reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance and with dotted lines into the Sales, Marketing and Commercial Directors. This will initially be a 9 month maternity contract, but with the distinct possibility of a permanent opportunity afterwards.

Business partnering sales and commercial teams.
Preparation and analysis of weekly flash trading and KPI reports to deliver insight to the Executive Management Team
Delivering best in class analysis, reporting, insight and financial mentorship
Deliver detailed analysis and recommendations for commercial deals, business decisions, and investment appraisals / business cases
Deliver accurate financial planning, including budgeting, rolling forecasts and strategic long-range plans
Responsible for margin and product analysis and providing ongoing insight into product category trends and margin optimisation opportunities

They're looking for a part-qualified / qualified accountant with extensive commercial finance analysis and business partnering experience, ideally within the consumer / retail / space. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are absolutely essential, as is an advanced knowledge of Excel and related data tools. You MUST be available on 1 month or less notice!!
