Job Specifications
Elevation Pictures is seeking a creative, experienced and highly organized Content & Creator Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of original video content and creator activations that promote our films and brand across social platforms.
This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes internet culture, understands what resonates on TikTok, and is eager to translate that fluency into impactful film campaigns. You will bring bold, platform-native ideas to life, while helping Elevation shape the cultural conversation around film, from commercial releases to the beating heart of the Canadian independent scene.
You will work closely with the Director of Specialty Marketing & Brand and VP, Communications to build Elevation's voice on social media, nurture creator relationships year-round, and strategize creative moments during key cultural touchpoints like press junkets, advance screenings, TIFF and other festivals.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Content Creation & Social Strategy
Assist in planning and producing original short-form content for Elevation's TikTok, Instagram & YouTube Shorts ensuring ideas are platform-first, scroll-stopping, and aligned with our films and brand
Help maintain and organize Elevation's content calendar across social platforms,
Launch, track and manage trailer launches on YouTube & across social platforms,
Research and pitch creative ideas that reflect internet trends, creator culture, and our film slate
Event & Experiential Strategy
Support the strategy and execution of creator-forward moments around screenings, premieres, and festivals, from concepting small but buzzy activations to larger experiential stunts
Film and edit quick-turn content on-site at events, screenings, and activations
Assist in crafting event recaps that extend the life of activations online
Creator Engagement
Help identify and coordinate creators for screenings, events, activations and partnerships,
Manage creator touchpoints during events, screenings, TIFF and other moments, from outreach and invites to on-site support
Track creator participation and content performance to help shape future strategy
Administrative & Organizational
Assist with department administration as needed (invoices, expenses, budget tracking),
Manage company's bi-weekly newsletter,
Lead per film website updates,
Industry Insight
Maintain a pulse on film culture, from emerging directors to festival conversations, while also staying fluent in broader internet trends.
Assist the team in weaving together independent film storytelling with mainstream cultural touchpoints to create fresh, authentic moments.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
2+ years of relevant experience,
Bachelors degree,
Previous exposure to social media coordination, influencer marketing, PR, or film-related work,
Experience with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Capcut or similar tools,

Have a deep understanding of social media platform algorithms & current content trends.
Are excited about the film industry and passionate about amplifying Canadian independent voices
Are confident filming and editing content quickly including tools like CapCut and Canva
Stay organized and thrive in a fast-moving environment
Have strong communication skills and are comfortable working directly with creators
Enjoy being part of a small but passionate team where every idea can have an impact
Willing to work in the office a minimum of three days a week and willing to work flexible hours, including overtime during the week and on weekends, when necessary
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience running brand social accounts
Experience on red carpets, events or working directly with talent
A good sense of humour and love for all things film
