This strategic leadership role combines hands-on technology expertise with executive advisory capabilities, partnering with private equity sponsors and portfolio company executives to drive measurable business value. You will lead complex technology assessments, define actionable roadmaps, and oversee high-impact transformation initiatives. The role requires balancing client-facing leadership with practice development, mentoring, and thought leadership, while working across diverse industries and technology domains. You will guide teams, influence executive decisions, and deliver insights that enhance portfolio performance, scalability, and growth. Accountabilities:
Lead and manage complex technology advisory engagements, including IT due diligence, technology strategy, operating model design, process improvement, and transformation planning
Translate business objectives into actionable technology roadmaps aligned with portfolio value creation goals
Serve as a trusted advisor to executives on technology investment priorities, risk management, and modernization initiatives
Conduct hands-on assessments of applications, infrastructure, and data environments to identify cost optimization, scalability, and performance opportunities
Produce executive-ready reports and presentations that communicate findings, risks, and recommendations clearly
Facilitate governance meetings and executive discussions to align stakeholders and ensure successful outcomes
Lead, mentor, and develop engagement teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction
Contribute to practice development through methodology enhancement, capability building, and knowledge sharing
Support business development by crafting proposals, participating in pitches, and cultivating client relationships
Requirements
12-15+ years of experience in technology consulting or enterprise IT leadership, including 8+ years in client-facing delivery roles
Proven success leading technology advisory engagements for private equity firms or portfolio companies
Expertise in at least three of the following: IT due diligence, technology strategy, enterprise architecture, data and AI, cloud/infrastructure modernization, and M&A integration
Broad understanding of enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, industry-specific systems) and core IT disciplines (cybersecurity, operating models, architecture, data governance)
Strong financial acumen, able to connect technology initiatives to measurable business outcomes (EBITDA, ROI, cash flow)
Hands-on leadership style, capable of conducting detailed assessments and guiding teams to client success
Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant certifications (ITIL, TOGAF, PMP, AWS/Azure, NetSuite, Salesforce) preferred
