Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Glendale, California.

Duties:

Design, develop, and deploy software solutions that support visual effects artists, production teams, and executives in delivering creative projects efficiently
Collaborate with a team of software engineers and subject matter experts to design, build, test, and implement applications that enhance production workflows
Work with fellow engineers to create smooth, efficient, and dynamic user experiences
Work closely with team members to create smooth, efficient, and dynamic user experiences
Participate in agile scrum processes, including prioritizing and estimating work through user stories
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues, implementing effective defect fixes as needed

Desired Skills/Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
3+ years of industry experience
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS or similar front end framework
Hands-on experience with source control and CI tools such as GitLab and GitHub
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Experience working in agile development environments or cross-functional teams
Familiarity with front-end performance optimization and responsive design best practices
Familiarity with databases, including PostgreSQL
Experience working with Cloud Platforms, particularly AWS or Azure
Hands-on experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies

The approximate pay range for this position is between $57.00 and $82.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
