Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Cloud Data Platform Engineer Lead, based in Mississauga, ON. The role involves leading the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based data platforms. The Engineer Lead will be responsible for building and supporting infrastructure, troubleshooting technical issues, developing software components, and overseeing database architecture. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage projects and implement best practices is also a critical component of the role.

Qualifications

Strong skills in Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming languages
Experience in building and managing Infrastructure for cloud-based systems
In-depth knowledge of Databases and handling large-scale datasets
Leadership and project management experience in designing end-to-end cloud solutions
Capacity to work effectively in an on-site team environment
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
