Role Description
This is a contract role for a Security Ops Engineer, based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with hybrid working arrangements available. The role involves implementing and maintaining security measures to protect applications, networks, and data. Daily responsibilities include identifying and resolving security vulnerabilities, monitoring systems to ensure compliance with security policies, and designing solutions to prevent breaches. The Security Ops Engineer will also collaborate with teams to ensure robust protection of information systems.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Application Security, developing and maintaining secure applications
Strong knowledge of Network Security techniques and protocols
Expertise in Cybersecurity practices, with experience in managing threats and vulnerabilities
Skills in Security Engineering and implementing robust security infrastructures
Understanding of Information Security principles and industry standards
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus
Experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, collaborative environment is beneficial
