Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer for a contract role based on-site in New York, NY. The developer will design, implement, and maintain Java-based applications and solutions to meet organizational needs. Responsibilities include building scalable microservices, leveraging the Spring Framework to streamline processes, and participating in code reviews for application improvements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure application performance and reliability is a key part of this position.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Java and expertise in Programming, with a focus on back-end and application development
Experience in Software Development and Microservices architecture
Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework and related Java tools and libraries
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
Experience with cloud technologies like AWS or Azure is a plus
