Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for a Technical Business Systems Analyst 3 in Nashville, TN. The work will be done onsite. This is a long-term contract. It can lead to permanent employment with our customer. Compensation is $46/hr W2 + full benefits, vision, dental, health insurance, 401K and holiday pay.

Our customer is the largest manufacturer of construction equipment in the world.

Job Description

The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations.

Position’s Contributions to Work Group: Under minimal supervision, provide definition, business analysis, and implementation of significant multi-phased projects, to provide business solutions to the assigned area. Provide research and assistance in design of systems to support business processes. Provide business technical assistance and guidance related to the architectural design and planning of computer systems and resources for the assigned area. Develop and provide training as required. Appreciable latitude for unreviewed actions and decisions is within the scope of delegated authority.

Interaction with team: Collaborative team environment. About 20 team members.

Team Structure: Report into the team lead and work director.

Work environment: Office

Education & Experience Required:

5–7 years’ experience;
Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Engineering or related field (MBA preferred);
Internships count;
Comparable roles: Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst.

Top 3 Skills

Writing complex user stories (API calls, Batch jobs), Experience with Salesforce (gathering business requirements and testing), Ability to communicate technical and business concepts.
