Context & Job Description

The Accounts payable, Stores and Treasury unit is currently launching a major project to improve samples' logistics of the stores, which brings a significant increase of workload. We are looking for a technician to provide support to the activities of the stores during the project. The main missions will include:

Performing operational tasks related to the stock management at ESRF stores such as:

Physical and computing reception of stock items
Organisation of storage space
Stock replenishment and disputes
Preparation of stock withdrawals orders
Regular checks on stock items considered sensitive
Participation in Commercial exchanges and annual price negotiations with suppliers
Organisation of stock annual inventory.

Providing operational support to the logistics coordinator and to the rest of the team such as:

Physical and receipt data entry of goods
Internal deliveries to users inside the facility
Shipment of goods.

Expected profile

Diploma in Logistics and Transport (BSC, Licence, HND, BTS, DUT, Bachelor, Vordiplom, Perito, Laurea Triennale, Diplomatura, Ingeneria Técnica or equivalent)
Minimum 3 years' professional experience in the relevant activities
Good knowledge in safety standards in logistics (T.M.D)
Good computing skills (Oracle ERP is a plus)
Good planning and organisation skills, sense of responsibility, ability to communicate efficiently and to interact with people at all levels
Driving license B, driving fork-lift trucks license (CACES 1 and 3)
You are known for being rigorous, proactive and flexible
English (working language at ESRF).

Working conditions

Time-limited contract (CDD) of 12 months.

The salary will be calculated on the basis of relevant qualifications and professional experience.
