About The Role

As ATB’s next Senior nCino Business Analyst, you will serve as a permanent, specialized administrator and strategic analyst, responsible for the non-coding configuration and long-term governance of our nCino Bank Operating System on the Salesforce platform. Your initial focus will be the successful execution of the Advisory CRM Project for our upcoming Capital Markets implementation. However, the permanent mandate of this role is the continuous sustainment, evolution, maintenance, and expansion of the platform across all strategic business lines beyond the initial implementation phase.

This position has a hybrid work arrangement. On-site work is based on business priorities.

Accountabilities

Lead the translation of complex Capital Markets business requirements into detailed, non-coding declarative platform configurations, including managing Flows, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, and other nCino/Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) settings.
nCino / Salesforce FSC functional SME responsible for gap analysis between requirement and OOTB solutions / Gold standards and system design.
Define, manage, and prioritize the nCino configuration backlog (e.g., in JIRA), ensuring all enhancements and fixes align with the strategic product roadmap and business objectives.
Establish and enforce standards for declarative best practices and configuration documentation across the Capital Markets nCino / Salesforce FSC platform. Own and execute the non-developer Release Management function, which includes monitoring Salesforce FSC / nCino Release Notes, coordinating deployment timelines with the Engineering team, and overseeing rigorous sandbox testing and environment synchronization (development, staging, production) to prevent configuration drift.
Provide day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and continuous optimization of the nCino Bank Operating System to drive operational efficiency and user adoption.
Interpret and implement business plans set by senior executives into product priorities and execution work, ensuring alignment of the platform strategy with organizational outcomes.
Mentor and guide less experienced configuration staff and internal users on best practices, system optimization, and efficient utilization of the nCino platform.
Act as the primary subject matter expert and go-to person for program or large-scale platform level configuration topics.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma with Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is considered an asset.
Required Certifications (Mandatory): Active certifications in Salesforce Certified Administrator and nCino System Administrator.
Highly Desired Certifications (Strong Asset): Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of direct, hands-on nCino platform configuration experience in a complex financial services setting.
Domain Expertise: Deep, demonstrated Capital Markets expertise and understanding, specifically related to commercial lending workflows (e.g., credit memo, covenant management, regulatory reporting), required to ensure compliance and accurate configuration.
Experience or proficiency with Google Workspace, JIRA, and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Lean)
Technology Assets (Enhanced): Familiarity with modern DevOps tools for configuration deployment (e.g., Copado, Gearset) and environment management is a strong asset
Ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights from data to drive process improvements and strategic recommendations
Aptitude for diagnosing issues within CRM / lending systems and providing logical, efficient solutions
Ability to think critically about how to optimize systems and empower users
Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and to document processes clearly
Strong interpersonal skills and a client-centric mindset
Proven track record of improving operational efficiency or user experienc
