Senior AI Engineer (Generative AI)

We’re looking for a Senior Generative AI Engineer who’s passionate about building real, production-grade AI capabilities—not just models or prototypes, but AI features that customers rely on every day. This is a hands-on role focused on Generative AI, RAG systems, agentic workflows, AI evaluation, and responsible AI practices, with a strong emphasis on AWS-native tools and modern AI frameworks.
What you will be doing:
Identify and define high-impact AI opportunities aligned to product and customer needs.
Build rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ideas, demonstrate possibilities, and guide product direction.
Develop MVPs and production-grade AI solutions using: Generative AI (LLMs, multimodal models),Agentic and orchestrated workflows, RAG pipelines and retrieval systems, Traditional ML where appropriate
Architect, refine, and deploy agentic AI solutions optimized for accuracy, safety, performance, and cost in AWS environments.
Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support to validate problem/solution fit and refine user experience.
Apply responsible AI principles across all solutions, including: Data quality and provenance, Bias mitigation, Hallucination reduction, Explainability and transparency, Guardrails and safety controls
Evaluate and integrate third-party AI services, tooling, and frameworks that accelerate development and complement internal capabilities.
Partner with data engineering to improve pipelines, metadata quality, and data-readiness for RAG, agent tasks, and model training.
Contribute to and improve AI CI/CD, MLOps/AIOps practices, including automated evaluation, drift detection, and testing frameworks.
What you will need to be successful:
A strong track record of building real, production-grade Generative AI or ML solutions, not limited to experimentation or chatbots.
7+ years of Python development, ideally with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
3+ years of CI/CD experience using containers and microservices to deploy AI workloads.
Hands-on RAG experience, including: HYDE, semantic search, chunking strategies, embedding model selection, Re-ranking and LLM-assisted retrieval improvements, Frameworks such as LangChain, Haystack, or AWS Bedrock Knowledge Bases
Experience with multimodal LLMs and evaluating when and how to apply them.
1+ year building agentic AI workflows using Bedrock Agents, LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Strand, Claude, OpenAI, or similar.
Nice to have:
Graph-based RAG or knowledge graph development (Neo4j or similar)
Experience building domain-specific or “vertical” AI agents
LLM fine-tuning, parameter-efficient tuning, or automated prompt optimization
Experience with Amazon Redshift, SageMaker, or other AWS AI/ML services
Exposure to unstructured data processing, OCR, or blueprint/plan parsing

This position will be a remote position within the United States or Canada. Occasional trips to our West Palm Beach, FL office, may be required.
