Job Specifications

A fast-growing innovative Insuretech SAAS company is seeking an experienced software engineer to join a very talented software team that is working to bring AI to Insurance Agencies. You will be a joining a small, but highly performing team in a full remote environment. Priority will be given to candidates that can come to the office in a hybrid setting.

Job Responsibilities

Create and implement automated tests for Postman, Selenium testing, and JMeter performance testing.
Design and create scripts, test plans, and procedures for new pieces of software and work out any bugs with the development team before it is put into full production.
Detect any bugs or defects throughout the development process, recording what went wrong and how it was circumvented.
Document the testing process including adding acceptance criteria to ensure the program runs effectively and that any results can be repeatedly replicated.
Perform software compatibility tests to guarantee programs can run on all supported platforms.
Monitor the performance of a new piece of software to see how well it is doing and what kind of reviews it is garnering.
Review customer problems or complaints, making any issues that are experienced by numerous customers a priority.
Coaching and mentoring of junior level Quality Analysts
Work as part of a team to develop new testing tools to make the troubleshooting process more efficient.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

Minimum of 5 years of prior full-time quality assurance experience
Minimum of 3 years of prior full-time automation QA experience using JavaScript to work with Postman and Selenium
Good understanding of DevOps principles and processes
Strong understanding of software and cloud architecture design
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and processes
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong written communication skills.
Interpersonal skills to build partnerships.

Preferred:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Familiarity with PHP, SQL, React, or AngularJS

This position is located in Peachtree Corners, GA and the base compensation is between $90K to $110K per year.
