This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer - Integrations in EMEA.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of a robust and scalable IAM platform, working on backend services and high-impact product capabilities. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and security teams to build features that deliver reliability, performance, and strong security foundations. This position offers the opportunity to shape mission-critical identity lifecycle and access intelligence features while continuously improving the platform's overall architecture. Accountabilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs that ensure scalability, performance, and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build secure, business-driven product features
Develop and enhance Access Intelligence capabilities that generate actionable insights for customer environments
Build and support identity lifecycle management features, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control mechanisms
Implement logging, monitoring, and auditing to ensure visibility, compliance, and operational excellence
Continuously optimize performance, security, and architecture through code reviews, testing, and refactoring
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging IAM technologies, incorporating innovative approaches where relevant

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
4+ years of experience in backend development, ideally within IAM, security, or related domains
Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang or Java
Strong experience building RESTful APIs and working within microservices architectures
Solid understanding of authentication and authorization standards and best practices
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including IAM services
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching systems, and distributed systems
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
