NxtGener is an education, careers, and student recruitment startup helping students around the world access study abroad opportunities, internships, and career guidance – while supporting universities and partners with global recruitment and talent solutions. We are now hiring a specialist intern to handle our Reddit and Twitter (X) presence – focused on conversations, community, and real-time engagement.
Role Description
Do you enjoy jumping into threads, debates, and Q&As?
Are you the person who always knows what’s trending, what people are complaining about, and what they’re excited about online?
As our Reddit & Twitter Community Intern, you will:
Build and manage NxtGener’s presence on Reddit and Twitter (X)
Turn real student questions, pain points, and trends into valuable posts and conversations
Help position NxtGener as a helpful, trustworthy, and responsive voice in the education space.
Qualifications
Across both platforms:
Manage daily posting, replies, and engagement on Reddit and Twitter (X)
Monitor conversations about study abroad, visas, student life, careers, and education
Turn FAQs, common doubts, and trends into helpful threads, replies, and posts
Draft short, clear, and engaging content (questions, polls, tips, threads, replies)
Escalate important queries or leads to the internal team
Track basic metrics (followers, impressions, upvotes, comments, clicks) and suggest improvements
Must-have skills:
Active Reddit & Twitter/X user (personal or admin experience)
Strong ability to write concise, impactful one-liners and threads
Understanding of:
Hashtags, mentions, tags
Quote tweets vs replies vs threads
Tone difference between professional and casual tweets
Comfortable with fast responses and real-time posting when needed
