QA Engineer - Genesys Cloud (Omnichannel, Automation, CI/CD)
£400 - £500/day | Fully Remote | Outside IR35 | 3-month contract (likely to extend)
Experience in testing Genesys Cloud contact centre solutions is essential for this role.

This is your opportunity to join a high-impact agile squad working on a major transformation of a customer contact centre experience powered by Genesys Cloud, Dialogflow CX, Azure DevOps, and more. You'll be the go-to for quality, shaping test strategy, designing automation, and collaborating with engineers and product to build great things.

Day Rate: £400 - £500/day

Location: Fully remote (UK-based)
Length: Initial 3-month contract with high likelihood of extension (up to 9 months)

What you'll be doing:
Leading QA within a cross-functional agile squad delivering new Genesys Cloud capabilities
Designing and developing automated tests (frontend and backend) with TypeScript or similar
Validating chatbot flows, messaging journeys, call routing logic, and integrations
Building out test coverage for APIs, user journeys, and platform behaviours
Embedding automated testing into CI/CD workflows
Working closely with engineers and product to refine stories and define acceptance criteria
Balancing automation with targeted manual validation when it adds more value
Supporting deployments and investigating issues in production environments
Constantly pushing for shift-left, test-first thinking within the squad
What you'll bring to the table:
Strong experience in QA engineering with Genesys Cloud or similar omnichannel platforms
A solid automation background, ideally with TypeScript, Playwright, or equivalent tools
Hands-on experience testing cloud-based platforms (Azure, GCP, etc.)
Experience working in agile squads and DevOps/CI-CD pipelines
Solid understanding of test strategy, coverage, and quality metrics
Confident communicator: happy in ceremonies, with engineers, or in stakeholder discussions
Bonus points for testing chatbot or conversational flows, or SaaS/low-code platforms
