Location: London (hybrid - 2 days per week)

Contract: 6 months (likely extension)

Overview

The Platform Manager sits within the Investment Platform Team and is responsible for the oversight, governance, prioritisation, and delivery facilitation of all change impacting the investment platform. This role acts as the central point of coordination between investment stakeholders, internal development teams, project managers, and third-party vendors to ensure platform change is well-defined, prioritised, and delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Own, manage, and prioritise the investment platform backlog (Azure DevOps or similar tools such as Jira).
Act as primary liaison with investment stakeholders to understand high-level requirements, set expectations, and provide clarity on priorities.
Work closely with development leads to plan and sequence work, understand technical constraints, and support value-driven delivery.
Oversee platform responsibilities including data stewardship, platform governance, and monitoring of supported systems (databases, risk systems, research tools).
Coordinate with programme and project managers to support delivery of strategic and non-strategic change initiatives.
Provide oversight of third-party interactions via the internal relationship manager.
Ensure all changes align with broader investment platform strategy and BAU priorities.

Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of the investment management landscape (highly preferred).
Experience managing structured work pipelines/backlogs in Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and prioritisation skills.
Broad technical literacy—particularly around databases, data structures, and ETL concepts (no deep hands-on development required).
Highly organised, detail-focused, and capable of balancing multiple streams of incoming demand.

Please submit your CV for initial consideration. If your CV matches the requirements above, expect to receive a call within 24 hours to discuss your availability and daily rate expectations.
