Business Analyst & Senior Business Analyst

Salary: Up to £55,000

Edinburgh/Hybrid

We’re looking for both Agile Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts to join a forward-thinking team working alongside cross-functional software engineers. You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our client’s products are developed in line with the strategic roadmap — meeting customer needs while supporting delivery teams to achieve excellence.

Main Duties;

Collaborate with delivery teams and stakeholders to define, document, and refine features and user stories.
Analyse customer problems and project scope to deliver high-value, high-quality solutions while preventing unnecessary scope creep.
Contribute to product strategy development and support related commercial business cases.
Work closely across the business following Lean and Agile principles to ensure effective delivery.
Assess client requests, user insights, market trends, and competitor offerings to identify product enhancements.
Evaluate regulatory or compliance changes and determine how they should be incorporated into products.

About You:

Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand business processes and system integrations to inform detailed user stories.
Experience owning or contributing to product roadmaps, prioritising features based on business value.
Background in Agile software delivery or a strong interest in developing your expertise in this area.
Experience working with SaaS (Software as a Service) and cloud-based products.
Excellent multitasking abilities, balancing customer needs, product strategy, and technical considerations.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for contributing to team success.
A combination of business insight and technical understanding, with the vision and drive to turn ideas into reality.
