Core Responsibilities: Your Impact Day-to-Day
You will be expected to master and strictly adhere to all ANSI/AAMI standards, manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs), and internal protocols.
Decontamination & Technical Processing: Expertly decontaminate, disassemble, clean, and accurately reassemble complex surgical instruments and equipment using proper PPE and protocols.
Precision Inspection (QC Focus): Perform detailed, final-stage inspection of instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage prior to packaging. You are the ultimate quality gatekeeper.
Sterile Assembly & Packaging: Accurately assemble and package instrument trays and sets according to detailed guidelines, ensuring absolute count and integrity.
Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate washers, sterilizers, and other sterile processing equipment.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, inventory levels, and documentation of missing/damaged items (per SOPs).
Process Improvement: Actively provide feedback and suggest improvements to enhance workflow, safety, and operational procedures.
Maintenance & Inventory: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of sterilization equipment and monitor/maintain instrument and supply inventory levels.
What You Bring: Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Foundations
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certification: Current Certification in Sterile Processing (e.g., CRCST or equivalent) is required.
Experience: Proven ability to follow complex technical instructions (IFUs, SOPs) and perform detailed documentation.

Workplace Details & Requirements
Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Working Environment: Fast-paced, climate-controlled indoor environment with controlled access. Regular exposure to biohazardous materials and strong odors, moderate noise levels, and the requirement to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and stand for extended periods.
