Jonti-Craft® is seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Design Intern to support our marketing team with various design projects and overall company branding. The internship will provide hands-on experience in product design, visual communication, and branding within the educational furniture industry. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will assist in graphic design, marketing material creation, and photoshoots while also having the opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to real-world projects.

Essential Functions

Support graphic design needs for marketing materials, promotions, brochures, and presentations.
Edit and enhance product images for use in eCommerce listings.
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure brand consistency in product visuals.
Assist in documenting current image needs for digital marketing channels.
Ensure image compliance with online marketplace requirements.
Assist in photoshoots and verify correct products are available and all image needs are met.
Participate in cross-functional projects, gaining exposure into different areas of the business.

Additional Functions

Cross-training on social media and email marketing.
Assist in setting up functional photo studio.
Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align strategies and with broader business goals.
Identify inefficiencies in processes and suggest workflow improvements.

Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or other related fields preferred but not required.
Strong creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language for safety.

Working conditions

Our office environment is a typical office environment and does not substantially expose workers to adverse environmental conditions. The position may require occasional visits to the shop floor. Our production environment includes a variety of environmental elements including loud noise, dust and aromas. While this is an indoor operation, temperatures will vary with the outdoor temperature and some areas of the shop may be hot or cold.

Physical Requirements

Office positions are usually sedentary. The employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time. The ability to sit for long periods of time is required. The noise level in the office is typically quiet to moderate.
