As a Mid-Level AI Engineer, you will design and implement AI-powered solutions on Microsoft Azure. You'll take ownership of specific AI system components, work independently on deployment strategies, and collaborate closely with both data scientists and senior engineers to deliver scalable, production-ready AI systems.
You should possess the right to work in Ireland as a citizen of the European Union.
Responsibilities
Design and implement AI/ML model deployment pipelines on Azure (Azure ML, AKS, Azure Functions)
Build scalable REST APIs and microservices for AI model serving using C#/.NET and Python
Implement monitoring and automated retraining systems for production AI models
Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft enterprise technologies (Entra ID, Microsoft 365)
Optimize model inference performance and deployment costs
Mentor junior team members and contribute to AI best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
5+ years of software engineering experience with AI/ML focus
Strong experience with Python and C#/.NET development
Hands-on experience with Azure ML, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD
Understanding of machine learning model deployment and MLOps practices
Nice To Have
Experience with Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services
Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, ARM templates)
Experience with microservices architecture
