About the Role
We’re seeking an entrepreneurial Capital Development Partner to help fuel FinCliq’s next stage of growth by identifying and securing capital sources, including for-profit grants, accelerator programs, CDFI partnerships, and small business funding opportunities.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on research, relationship-building, and execution. You’ll work directly with FinCliq’s founder to secure the capital that drives expansion, innovation, and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify grant, loan, and capital opportunities for for-profit startups.
Write and submit proposals, applications, and funding documents.
Build relationships with financial institutions, CDFIs, accelerator programs, and funding agencies.
Maintain a live pipeline of open and upcoming funding opportunities.
Collaborate with the CEO on strategy, budgets, and positioning.
Track progress and report outcomes for each opportunity.
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience securing grants, loans, or capital for for-profit businesses.
Strong understanding of startups, fintech, or financial inclusion programs.
Excellent research and writing skills.
Self-motivated, independent, and driven by results.
Familiarity with platforms like Grants.gov, Hello Alice, SBA, or fintech accelerators is a plus.
Compensation
Commission-Based:
5% success fee on all non-dilutive capital (competitions, loan programs) successfully secured and received by FinCliq.
Reduced rate (3%) for awards over $250,000.
Optional performance equity available after milestone achievements.
No base salary (fully performance-based).
