Type: 12-Month Contract (Right-to-Hire Potential)
Pay Rate: $75/hr on 1099 or $70/hr on W2
Visa: Open (Local candidates only)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Lead Full Stack Developer to join the ( Payroll Client ) engineering team in Alpharetta, GA. This role involves building scalable, cloud-based applications and microservices using modern technologies like Node.js, React, AWS, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, collaborative, and skilled in troubleshooting complex production systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using Node.js and React.
Build and deploy microservices in AWS, leveraging Lambdas, S3, API Gateway, and EC2.
Work with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with the SRE team to support Kubernetes-based deployments and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to support front-end and backend integrations.
Investigate and resolve issues related to application performance, memory leaks, and post-release code defects.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in CI/CD automation and cloud deployments.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and offshore teams.
Required Skills:
7+ years of full stack development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Proficiency in AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, ECS, EC2, API Gateway, S3).
Experience with PostgreSQL and database performance optimization.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless frameworks.
Working knowledge of container orchestration and Kubernetes.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
Understanding of cloud security and deployment patterns.
Work Schedule:
Hybrid – 3 days onsite in Alpharetta, GA (flexible days)
Local candidates preferred
