Responsibilities

We are seeking a Software Developer to design and implement AI-driven solutions and embedded communication systems for advanced manufacturing environments. This role involves developing proof-of-concept applications, backend services, and deploying local AI models to optimize production workflows. Responsibilities will include:

Develop and integrate software components for in-cab communication and modular vehicle systems.

Design solution architecture documents including context, component, and sequence diagrams.

Deliver incremental software builds with high unit-test coverage.

Deploy and benchmark local LLM packages (e.g., Llama-based models) for low-latency inference.

Create operational runbooks and SOPs for installation, backup, and patching.

Conduct pilot readiness reviews and knowledge-transfer sessions.

Ensure compliance with usability, functionality, and data privacy standards.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in C++, JavaScript, and containerization (Docker).
Experience with AI/ML model deployment and performance benchmarking.
Familiarity with Agile development and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to produce technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance in software development.

Preferred Skills

Experience with automotive or manufacturing systems.
Understanding of MQTT or similar messaging protocols.
Exposure to local LLM deployment and inference optimization.
