Now Hiring: Full Stack Engineer

Location: Durham, NC or Westlake, TX (Hybrid – onsite every other week)

Duration: 12 months (extension possible)

Pay Rate: $60–$65/hr (W2 only)

Employment Type: W2 Referral Only – No C2C / H-1B candidates

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our Fortune 500 financial services client.

In this role, you’ll design and develop reusable APIs and modern web components that enhance customer experience, improve code quality, and streamline deployment practices.

You’ll work through the entire software development lifecycle in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring peers, and staying ahead with the latest technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Develop scalable front-end and back-end solutions (approx. 70% frontend / 30% backend).
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Utilize cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and containerization tools like Docker & Kubernetes.
Apply test-first development practices using tools like Cypress or Playwright.
Optimize CI/CD pipelines and ensure robust, high-quality releases.

Top Skills & Tech Stack

Frontend: Angular (v17+ preferred), TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, Signals

Backend: Node.js (Express.js), Java (Spring Boot), Python

DevOps & Cloud: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS familiarity), Jenkins

Testing: Cypress, Playwright, unit/integration testing

Database: Relational and NoSQL

Methodology: Agile / TDD
