Senior Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript)

ClimateTech Start-up | London Bridge | Hybrid

£75–90k + early-stage equity

At Minimum, you’ll:

Shape and build intuitive, data-driven UIs used by global enterprises to decarbonise

Work side-by-side with designers, PMs, and domain experts to turn complex problems into elegant experiences

Own frontend architecture decisions as we scale – from component libraries to performance optimisation

Ship fast, learn fast, and see your work directly impact sustainability leaders across industries

’ :

5+ years of frontend development experience (React + TypeScript)

Strong grasp of modern frameworks, component-driven architecture & testing (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.)

Confidence collaborating across disciplines – from UX design to backend APIs

Curiosity and product-thinking – you care about outcomes, not just output

A start-up mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, proactive, and collaborative

Experience working with design systems (Storybook or similar)

Exposure to GraphQL/REST APIs or data-heavy applications

Familiarity with Python/Django backends (for smoother cross-functional work)

Passion for climate tech or sustainability – we’re here to make real-world impact
