Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team. This role is suited to someone who is confident managing day-to-day finance processes and is looking to further develop their skills within a growing organisation.

You’ll support the Finance team with invoice processing, reconciliations, payroll preparation, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities

Process purchase and sales invoices accurately and efficiently
Carry out bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Support preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payroll
Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial data and documentation
Respond to internal and external finance queries professionally
Assist with month-end tasks, ledger adjustments, and reporting support

Who we are looking for

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
Experience working with accounting software (Sage experience desirable)
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc., ideal but training can be provided)
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities
Positive team player with a willingness to learn and improve processes
