Job Specifications
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Professional with deep expertise in Capital Markets, particularly in Equities and Prime Brokerage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional and automation testing, along with a solid understanding of trade lifecycle, risk management, and settlement processes. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our trading platforms, back-office systems, and related financial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts for Capital Markets applications (Equities, Prime Brokerage, etc.).
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of trading platforms, order management systems (OMS), and risk management tools.
Validate front-to-back trade flows, including trade capture, execution, clearing, settlement, and reporting.
Work closely with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured) to improve testing efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in Equities, Prime Brokerage, and Securities Finance.
Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to process improvements.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
