We're Hiring: Digital Investigations Intern in Serious Organised Crime at Nottinghamshire Police

Various Locations in Nottinghamshire | Up to 37 hours may be available per week | Starting from £24,747

Are you a curious, tech-savvy student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in digital forensics and crime investigation? We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our Serious and Organised Crime team - no prior police experience required!

What you'll do

Work alongside experienced digital investigators, learning to use specialist forensic tools and techniques.
Get involved in real cases - attend scenes to recover digital evidence and triage devices.
Represent Nottinghamshire Police at university career events and job fairs to help up connect with future talent.
Support research projects and evidence management, building skills for your future career.
Learn about compliance, ethics and secure handling of sensitive information.
Build professional relationships and networks within law enforcement and beyond.
Receive training in cutting-edge systems and contribute ideas to improve our processes.
Take on varied tasks that will stretch your abilities and help you discover your strengths.

What We’re Looking For

Interest in digital technology, cyber security or forensic science.
Willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges.
Effective communicator, able to work well in a team.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Working towards an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
