Looking for: PHP Developer (LAMP stack)

Job Type: Contract (3 Months with Possible Extension)

Location: Remote (San Jose, California)

Description:

PHP Developer:

• Project entails migrating existing, older LAMP stack application to newer LAMP stack version, reviewing and testing all PHP code and updating code as necessary to ensure application functionality works as expected. Update operational runbooks as necessary for on-going operations and support of the application.

Must Haves:

• 5 years of experience in LAMP stack development

• Deep knowledge of Linux system administration specifically in the areas of secure LDAP/S directory services configuration, LDAP authentication, and OpenSSL

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git, SVN

• Solid problem-solving skills to be able to troubleshoot complex application performance issues

• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to clearly explain and document technical concepts

Qualification

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
