Job Description

We are seeking a System Engineer with expertise in hydraulics and power shift modules to join our engineering team in the automotive sector. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration, validation, and performance of transmission systems, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Decompose technical product-level requirements into subsystem-level requirements, specifications, and architecture, ensuring compliance.

Manage and update Critical-to-Function (CTF) items.

Make technical decisions and maintain effective communication across stakeholders and departments.

Conduct system-level V-cycle testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure reliability, safety, and performance.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation and specifications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including embedded software, hardware, mechanical, hydraulic, and materials engineers, to ensure seamless system integration.

Perform system analysis, modeling, and simulation to validate system performance and compliance with industry standards.

Participate in design reviews, FMEAs, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.

Lead system issue investigations (8D/QRQC) during development, serial production, and after-sales support.

Support the development of Functional Safety and Cybersecurity requirements.

Profile / Requirements

Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.

Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the automotive engineering environment.

Strong technical background in mechanical engineering (design and manufacturing) with experience linking software and control strategies.

Hands-on experience with 5W2H, 8D problem solving, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Proficiency in system engineering tools such as Matlab, Simulink, statistical programs (e.g., Minitab), Vector CANape, and requirement management tools (e.g., Polarion).
