What you'll do:

As an International Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's international tax compliance efforts. Your day-to-day activities will involve preparing complex corporation tax computations alongside trusted advisors, ensuring all payments to tax authorities are processed promptly. You will be responsible for drafting detailed current and deferred tax notes for statutory accounts as well as developing accurate forecasts for cash budgeting purposes. In addition, you will undertake thorough balance sheet controls while assisting with key regulatory submissions such as Pillar 2 and Country by Country reports. Managing audit requests from tax authorities will require you to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels across multiple geographies. Success in this role hinges on your ability to gather critical data from various sources within the business, interpret it accurately, and communicate findings clearly within a global context.

Support the preparation of International Corporation Tax computations in collaboration with outsourced advisors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Ensure timely payments are made to tax authorities by coordinating closely with internal teams and external partners.
Prepare current and deferred tax notes for inclusion in statutory accounts, maintaining meticulous attention to detail throughout the process.
Develop comprehensive tax forecasts for inclusion in cash budgets, providing valuable insights for financial planning.
Undertake rigorous balance sheet controls and ensure full compliance with internal controls related to tax matters.
Assist with Pillar 2 and Country by Country submissions, contributing to the organisation's commitment to transparency and regulatory adherence.
Manage audit requests from tax authorities efficiently, liaising with various stakeholders to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
Gather and interpret data provided by colleagues across the business, demonstrating a deep understanding of diverse international operations.
Collaborate regularly with finance and commercial teams located in Europe, North America, and other regions to ensure seamless communication and information sharing.

What you bring:

To excel as an International Tax Manager, you will bring extensive experience gained from working within multinational environments where international corporate tax is a central focus. Your background should include hands-on involvement in both UK group structures and foreign subsidiaries, enabling you to navigate complex cross-border issues confidently. A recognised professional qualification such as CTA, ACA or ACCA will underpin your technical expertise while your commitment to accuracy ensures that all financial records meet stringent standards. Your interpersonal skills will allow you to build strong connections across teams worldwide; being considerate and empathetic helps foster collaboration even when managing competing priorities.
