Our mission

In 2016, our founders wanted to feed their dogs - named Edgard and Cooper - pet food they could feel good about. The kind of food that was as good for the planet as it was for their pets. But when they couldn't find this, they decided to make their own. Now, 10 years later, our pack has over 200 employees and we are beyond proud to be part of the B Corp movement.

What type of breed are we looking for?

We’re on the lookout for a curious, purpose-driven intern to join our Impact Squad. You’ll help us shape how impact is further embedded into our culture, and you’ll get hands-on experience in the world of sustainability, corporate foundations, and impact communication.

You’ll work closely with Clara and gain exposure to everything in the impact universe. Although you’ll support different areas, you’ll have ownership of one project.

This internship is perfect for someone who loves dogs and cats (impurrrtant), cares about doing good, and wants an inside look into how a fast-growing ethical business actually works.

What will be in your bowl?

Bring our progress to life with simple data visualisation and strong storytelling

What skills and tricks should you bring?

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program and eligible to work in Belgium
Proficiency in English is a must
You’re interested in ethical businesses, sustainability and the non-profit world. A first experience with sustainability is a plus!
You’re collaborative, structured, proactive and creative
Must be available min. 3 days a week, on-site

This is an unpaid internship that will provide valuable experience in the field of impact.

About the Company

Do you believe in doing the right thing? We started Edgard & Cooper because we’d had enough of feeding our dogs and cats over-processed pet food that they didn’t really like. We decided we could do better and started making our own. Today, we’re proud to offer a complete range of delicious, well-balanced recipes for dogs and cats, made using natural, nutritious ingredients.
