My client is a high-growth London-based fintech transforming the way businesses manage their cashflow. Their clients include scale-ups, SME’s and large corporates. They operate in a fast-paced environment where precision, commercial excellence, and data-driven decision-making shape our success.

With offices all over the world, this is an exciting opportunity to join a start-up that has the security of well established businesses.

Role Overview

The Senior Sales Operations Manager will own the end-to-end sales operations function, driving commercial performance and accountability across the BD team. This role is responsible for optimising processes, improving forecasting accuracy, managing performance frameworks, and delivering board-level reporting on pipeline, SLAs, revenue, and operational efficiency.

You will act as the strategic partner to the executive leadership team, ensuring the BD organisation is aligned, efficient, and equipped with the tools, insights, and support needed to hit ambitious growth targets.

Manage day-to-day performance, coaching BDs to meet KPIs and revenue targets.
Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high execution.
Report performance to the board
Forecast on sales performance month on month

Sales Operations Excellence

Own the full sales operations framework including processes, workflows, territory management, and quota setting.
Ensure SLAs across BD outreach, lead response times, pipeline hygiene, and handoff processes are consistently met.
Oversee CRM governance (e.g., HubSpot/Salesforce), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adoption.

Performance Management & Reporting

Deliver accurate, timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to the executive team and board.
Produce insights on pipeline health, conversion metrics, revenue forecasts, and team performance.
Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.

Strategy & Execution

Work closely with Commercial, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to align sales strategy with company-wide goals.
Support go-to-market planning, including segmentation, pricing input, and demand forecasting.
Drive optimisation projects such as automation, tooling implementation, and process redesign.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Operations—ideally in a fintech or fast-scaling tech/SaaS environment.
Proven experience managing and developing BD or inside sales teams.
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; expert proficiency with CRM systems and reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to produce board-level insights and strategic recommendations.
Deep understanding of sales processes, funnel metrics, lead lifecycle management, and forecasting methodologies.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience interacting at C-suite/board level.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.

Desired Attributes

Experience in fintech, payments, or regulated financial services. (not essential)
Strong operational mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Passion for scaling teams, processes, and systems in a high-growth environment.
