Slack Developer & Admin (Slack Solutions Engineer)

We are looking for a skilled Slack Developer & Admin to manage, customize, and enhance our Slack environment. The ideal candidate will build workflows, integrate apps, automate processes, and ensure platform governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop custom Slack apps, bots & workflows using Slack API, Bolt, Python/Node.js
Manage Slack admin tasks: user management, channels, permissions, policies
Integrate Slack with internal tools (e.g., Jira, Salesforce, Google Workspace)
Build automation using Workflow Builder, webhooks & event-based triggers
Monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workspace performance

Required Skills:

5-7 years experience as Slack Developer/Admin
Strong knowledge of Slack API, Bolt framework, Slack App Config
Experience in custom bot development
Understanding of OAuth, webhooks, event subscriptions
Good communication & problem-solving skills

Location: Remote / UK
