Job Title: Fast API Solution Lead/ Architect

Location: New York City, New York (Hybrid)

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

12+ years of solutioning, design & development if cloud-native web applications using React, Vite, FastAPI, and Python
Strong proficiency in Python and the FastAPI web framework.
Proven experience designing cloud-native web applications (preferably on AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Expertise in data engineering tools such as Apache Airflow, Spark, SQL, and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
Experience implementing systems compliant with SEC regulations or other financial services compliance frameworks.
Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and version control (Git).
Strong knowledge of security best practices, especially in handling PII and financial data.
