Job Summary (Infrastructure Architect)

Senior-level role responsible for designing and implementing IT infrastructure to support business objectives.
Leads infrastructure integration projects, including cloud/datacenter migrations, AD/Office 365 consolidation, and user collaboration enhancements.
Collaborates with enterprise architecture teams to establish and document infrastructure strategy, principles, and best practices.
Sets strategic direction for key infrastructure technologies: public cloud, directory services, networking, storage, servers, databases, and security.
Ensures systems meet compliance, performance, and high availability/disaster recovery standards.
Acts as a level-4 escalation point for IT operations and aids in root cause analysis and problem resolution.
Develops and monitors technology architecture to meet current and future enterprise needs.
Plans and manages technology refresh cycles and ensures solutions integrate with all infrastructure components.
Identifies and implements cost-efficient, innovative, and shared infrastructure solutions.
Reviews and ensures installations and upgrades comply with policies, procedures, and licensing.
Presents technical solutions to C-level executives and leads related projects, including those for mergers and acquisitions.
Requires at least 12 years of IT infrastructure experience (5+ as an architect), cloud certification (Azure or AWS), and a bachelor's degree in IT.
Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and negotiation skills; consulting experience preferred.
