Job Specifications

We are looking for an experienced Azure specialist that will lead the design, evolution, and operations of the enterprise Azure environment. This role drives the strategy and execution for the cloud platform, ensuring it scales and adapts to the needs of multiple global business units. You will work closely with engineering and business stakeholders, enabling cloud adoption, championing platform modernization, and introducing cloud-native capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Platform Leadership

Own the design, evolution, and operation of the enterprise Azure cloud platform.
Provide centralized cloud platform services for multiple global business units.
Ensure platform reliability, security, performance efficiency, and cost optimization.

Architecture & Enablement

Translate business and technical needs into platform capabilities.
Advise teams on cloud adoption, patterns, and best practices.
Act as the primary subject matter expert for Azure.

Security & Governance

Implement required cloud governance controls, security guardrails, and benchmarks.
Maintain transparency and compliance reporting.
Enforce least-privilege access models.

Reliability & Observability

Deliver resilient, multi-region architectures.
Maintain real-time monitoring and centralized logging.
Continuously refine operational procedures.

Cost & Performance Management

Reconcile and allocate monthly cloud spending.
Improve cost visibility through tagging and reporting.
Support savings plan strategies and workload optimization.

Automation & DevOps

Automate platform provisioning and operations using infrastructure-as-code.
Maintain CI/CD workflows for platform deployments.
Build cloud automation using Azure Functions and API integrations.

Requirements:

Strong Terraform experience (Terraform Cloud a plus)
Proven experience designing and automating Azure landing zones
Strong expertise with Azure App Service Environment, Azure Functions, and private networking
Ability to design security, compliance, and operational governance frameworks
Hands-on IaC development with Terraform
Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps
Development background in Python, JavaScript, or Java
Ability to build automation using Azure Functions and REST APIs
