Position: Appian Lead

Location : Mississauga, Toronto

Duration: Contract

Job Description::

8+ years of experience in Appian BPM development and design. Have a holistic understanding of extending Appian with common enterprise integrations, frameworks, and libraries. At least 6 years of experience in Appian implementation, knowing all aspects of Appian product and implementation methodology.

· Strong knowledge of Appian components: SAIL, Process Models, Records, Sites, Reports, and Plug-ins. Can effectively design and implement end-to-end transformative solutions

· Complete understanding of the tools available on the Appian platform.(Like Modelling, AI Skills, Plug-ins, Admin Console, Process HQ, Cloud DB)

· Experience in Appian version 21.x or higher.

· Proficiency in Java, SQL, and Web Services (SOAP/REST) for integrations.

· Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Appian Level 2 or Level 3 certification preferred.

· Experience in cloud deployments (AWS/Azure).

· Knowledge of UI/UX best practices within Appian.

· Familiarity with DevOps tools for CI/CD in Appian projects.

Relevant Experience : 6+Years

Mandatory skills : 6+ Years of experience as Appian Lead Developer

Desired skills

Lead the design and development of Appian applications, ensuring adherence to best practices.

· Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ability to present options to the client, identifying and clearly communicating the benefits and risks of each decision and solution.

· Manage and mentor a team of Appian developers, providing guidance and code reviews.

· Integrate Appian applications with external systems using web services, APIs, and other integration methods.

· Ensure performance optimization, scalability, and security of Appian applications.

· Prepare technical documentation and participate in solution architecture discussions.

· Troubleshoot and resolve issues during development and post-deployment phases.
