Description
The contractor will standardize and clean up a messy Python codebase used for automated battery testing, defining conventions, fixing "hack fixes," and ensuring code works on hardware.
Communize structure of various HV Battery classes. Communizing function names, property names, and interfaces.
Come up with permanent solutions to patch fixes in code.
Test code on real hardware prior to merging with code repository.
Revise and write new unit tests.
Clean up docstrings.
Create documentation for HV battery test framework

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Strong Python development experience, ideally related to hardware, robotics, or complex automation projects, with a software engineering experience.
Experience Level: A minimum of two years of work experience is required; this is not a new graduate role.
Battery Experience: Direct battery experience is not a requirement but would be considered a plus.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
