Position: Sr. Cyber Security Analyst

Location: Rockville, MD

Security Clearance: Active Public Trust or US Citizen and willing to obtain one

Citizenship: U.S. citizen required

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, installation, implementation, and support of ZScaler infrastructure.

• Perform ruleset upgrades and deliver ZIA reporting.

• Support Change Management processes and adhere to SOPs.

• Respond to requests/incidents within SLA.

• Collaborate with project/program management and attend meetings.

• Train stakeholders on solution administration and use.

• Participate in special projects and provide on-call support.

• Submit weekly and ad-hoc status reports.

Required Skills:

• Associate’s degree in STEM or equivalent experience.

• 3+ years of Cyber Security experience.

• Hands-on ZScaler experience.

• 2+ years in large-scale enterprise environments.

• Ability to obtain/maintain MBI/T2 clearance.

• Networking and DNS fundamentals.

• Experience with routing, traffic inspection, ZIA/ZPA/ZDX setup.

• Familiarity with Syslog, GRE/IPSec, NAT, subnetting.

• Experience with Service Edges, App Connectors, ZTNA policies.

• Exposure to firewall policies, PAC files, proxy chaining.

• Integration experience with Okta, CyberArk, Splunk.

• Troubleshooting across distributed architectures.

• SSL inspection, VPN, MFA, identity providers.

• ServiceNow experience.

Desired Skills:

• ZScaler or Security+ certification.

• Experience with MS Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, MS Teams.

• Familiarity with MS Teams Planner, ServiceNow, JIRA.

• Strong technical and analytical skills.

• Experience with vulnerability communication and risk posture.

• ZScaler best practices knowledge.
