Job Title: Data Protection Assessor

Location: Oxfordshire - 3 days a week on-site

Contract: 12 months

IR35: Inside

Rate: £400-£475per day

Start Date: ASAP

Overview

This role sits within a high-demand team focused on supporting ongoing developments and delivering a high volume of assessments. You'll report into the Head of Data Protection, with day-to-day oversight from the manager responsible for Q&A and assurance activities.

Responsibilities

Own and manage your workload, engaging directly with stakeholders to gather requirements
Deliver privacy and supplier assessments, including risk identification and remediation
Support "privacy by design" across customer-related projects and attend relevant steer-cos
Audit and maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA)

You'll be involved in:

Data flow mapping
They expect around 100 assessments plus evaluations of around 20 new tools per year

Required Skills & Experience

Strong understanding of the data lifecycle, DPA, and GDPR
Comfortable working with the Microsoft stack
Background in smaller organisations or retail is beneficial
Experience in non-regulated industries preferred
